One of the recurring problems with SWGEmu and pre-CU has always been lack of content. The modding community and private servers have worked toward remedying that, often by adding in new dungeons or quests, and recently by a new planet addition that we previously covered here.

Now, SWGEmu tool developer Sytner released two zip files – world assets for Kashyyyk and Mustafar, converted for compatibility with pre-CU and SWGEmu.

It’s important to note that these are not complete packages. These are the client-side assets necessary to add the worlds to SWGEmu and use them with the pre-CU client. They lack, however, the extensive LUA scripting which is all necessary server-side to make the planets accessible, add in quests, creatures, rewards, etc.

Still, this is a very promising release, and no doubt we’ll soon see both worlds start popping up on private SWGEmu servers, especially with brand-new content to fill the void left by the original quests.
